Job summary

AMN Healthcare is seeking an Anesthesiology Physician for locum tenens in Alexandria, VA. The candidate will supervise CRNAs and manage own anesthesia blocks while supporting a Monday–Friday schedule with a 40-hour workweek.

Virginia license or eligibility is required, along with Board Certification and ACLS/BLS/PALS. Epic EMR experience is preferred, and the opportunity includes malpractice insurance support and travel/accommodations arrangements.

Qualifications

• Virginia license or eligible (IMLC accepted).
• Board-certified Anesthesiology.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs and manage own anesthesia blocks.
• Provide daily anesthesia care with a Monday–Friday schedule.
• Coordinate with surgical teams and maintain patient safety during cases.
