Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking a locum tenens anesthesiologist to cover general and regional anesthesia for elective surgeries. Typical hours are 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday, with no on-call requirements and ongoing coverage needs.

Compensation is competitive with paid malpractice, pre-paid travel and housing, and 24/7 consultant support. A minimum two weeks per month availability is expected, and assignments are managed through Weatherby’s online portal.

Qualifications

• Full scope general anesthesia including elective surgeries.
• General and regional anesthesia including ultrasound guided blocks.
• ER room patients experience.
• No trauma or obstetrics.
• 2 weeks per month minimum availability.
• Ongoing coverage need.
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses.
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal.

Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia for general and regional procedures.
• Ensure patient safety and manage anesthesia-related monitoring.
• Coordinate with surgical teams during elective procedures.
