Job summary

LocumTenens.com seeks an MD anesthesiologist for an ongoing locum tenens assignment at a busy Hanover, PA hospital. Day shifts run from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM under a 3:1 supervision model, with Epic charting and no cardiac or neurological cases.

The clinician will provide comprehensive anesthesia services for OB, orthopedic, pediatric, vascular, ENT and GI procedures, with 75% hands-on involvement; call is negotiable and prescriptive authority is required.

Qualifications

• MD anesthesiologist with board certification
• Proficient in Epic charting and documentation
• Prescriptive authority required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia services during 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Handle diverse surgical cases including OB, orthopedic, pediatric, vascular, ENT, and GI; exclude cardiac and neurological procedures.
• Operate under a 3:1 MD supervision model across 5 ORs, endoscopy and catheterization laboratories.
