Job summary

Mayer Executive Search is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist to support a private hearing healthcare practice with clinics in Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. You will conduct diagnostic evaluations, fit and program hearing aids, and provide ongoing follow-up care.

Ideal candidates hold an active New York HIS license, have experience fitting and programming devices, and can discuss technology with patients.

Job description

A well-established, privately owned hearing healthcare practice is seeking a Hearing Instrument Specialist to support its growing network of 13 established locations across Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. Rather than operating from retail storefronts, the practice's clinics are located within established medical centers, providing a consistent flow of physician referrals and an established patient base.

Providers have the opportunity to work from locations that best align with their preferred geographic area and commuting distance while enjoying a collaborative healthcare environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.

Position Overview:

The Hearing Instrument Specialist will provide comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations, hearing-aid consultations, fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care for primarily adult patients and occasional pediatric patients ages seven and up.

Practice locations are available throughout Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island, with assignments based on provider preference and commuting distance whenever feasible.
