Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Locksmith for a full-time, on-site role at WABASH COLLEGE. You will install, adjust, maintain, repair and replace locks and integrated security systems, and manage access control devices, including changing combinations and making keys.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma/GED, locksmith certification or apprenticeship preferred, and a valid driver’s license. Expect weekday morning shifts and potential Master Key maintenance, with excellent benefits and opportunities

• Maintain current locksmith licensure as applicable to the jurisdiction.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards related to emergency egress and corridor doors.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair and replace locks, security systems, and access control devices.
• Work with clients on access control and securing the property.
• Assist in Master Key systems maintenance as needed.
• Attend shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned based on client requirements.

Workdays/shifts: Weekdays - morning shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $18 - $28

What You'll Do: As a Locksmith, you will be a key member of the Sodexo team and will install, adjust, maintain, repair, and replace all types of locks and integrated security systems, access control devices, and other types of lock hardware such as latches, door checks, and panic bars, including changing lock combinations and making keys.

Responsibilities include:

• Use hand and power tools, and special equipment to install, repair and replace locks, security systems, and access control devices.
• Work with Sodexo's clients with access control and securing the property.
• Assist in the maintenance of Master Key systems as needed.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
