Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Coordinator

Hunt Electric, Inc is seeking an experienced Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Coordinator for our Big Horn project. This position will be working directly with other project level functional lead to ensure compliance with energy isolation, lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols, and safety standards during construction, commissioning, and operation on the jobsite. This is a key position in ensuring the smooth execution of construction projects from start to finish. This position requires an extended period of time at our onsite location.

The Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) Coordinator will be responsible for promoting a safe & healthy work environment. This candidate will be responsible for continuous improvement of Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) systems resulting in the reduction of incidents and ensure regulatory compliance.

Major Duties

• Collaborate with management to develop, prepare, and implement energy isolation protocols.
• Assist the Energy Marshal in the development and review of Method of Procedure (MOP) and critical activity plans.
• Working knowledge of injury prevention, compliance, and risk reduction techniques.
• Ability to interact with site superintendents, commissioning team, and project management team.
• Demonstrate an aptitude for learning, goal-oriented mindset for continual growth, with a "Can-Do" positive attitude.
• Actively contributes to a positive team environment.
• Demonstrates dependability with regular attendance and complianceto scheduled work hours.
• Other duties or locations as assigned by Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

• 1-2 years LOTO Coordinator experience on other Data Center Sites.
• 3+ years’ safety experience in a construction setting.
• Electrical trade experience preferred.
• Must possess OSHA 30 construction certificate valid within 5 years.
• Knowledge of state and federal safety regulations as applied to construction and general industry.
• First Aid, CPR & AED certifications.
• Electrical safety-NFPA 70E.
• Self-driven, willing to work alone or as part of a team on assigned tasks and initiatives.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft applications.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to physically perform the duties and functions of the position.
• Valid driver’s license.

Work Schedule

This is a full-time position with a typical working schedule of Mon – Friday 5:00 AM to 5:30 PM
