Job description

We need a motivated Locations Assistant to join our team starting around October 1, 2026 for a commercial project. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in film production. You'll be assisting the Location Scout and Manager with day-to-day tasks on a dynamic commercial shoot in Albuquerque, NM. The project is for an independent production, featuring a modern, energetic tone. We're looking for someone enthusiastic about learning the ropes. Key responsibilities include assisting with location prep and wrap, coordinating with crew on-site, managing location supplies, ensuring location cleanliness and security, and helping with general logistics. You'll be working closely with the Locations Department to ensure smooth operations. Prior experience isn't strictly necessary, but a strong work ethic, reliability, and a valid driver's license are essential. Access to a personal vehicle is a major plus for getting around Albuquerque. This is a deferred compensation role (backend percentage). We anticipate a 1-2 day shoot, likely around October 18, 2026, with prep starting about a week prior. Meals and production supplies will be provided during work days.

We're hoping to make a decision by October 28, 2026.
