Job summary

LineQuest LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Locate Technician to identify and mark underground utilities for safe excavation and construction. You will work outdoors across various sites, interpreting maps and blueprints and communicating with contractors and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is a plus.
• Previous experience in utility locating, construction, or related field preferred.
• Familiarity with underground utility systems and locating equipment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

This position involves working outdoors on construction sites and other locations throughout their assigned area. The role does require walking, standing, and lifting of equipment. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times.
