Job summary

HandledNow in Kentucky is seeking a Local CDL-A Yard Jockey to move trailers for one of the region's largest automobile manufacturers in Georgetown. The role offers consistent hours and a competitive hourly pay with a $1 shift differential for second shift.

You will enjoy guaranteed overtime, opportunities to earn more with tenure, and a predictable Mon–Fri schedule with every other weekend. Strong trailer backing skills and the ability to pass a DOT drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• 9-12 months tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years.
• No more than 1 major preventable accident in the last 3 years.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate yard jockey duties at a major automobile manufacturer site in Georgetown, KY.
• Back trailers with precision in a yard environment.
• Maintain a consistent Mon–Fri schedule with every other weekend.
• Adhere to safety policies and DOT requirements.

Local CDL-A Yard Jockey

• Consistent hours, strong hourly pay. Earn $27.16/hr, with a $1/hr shift differential for 2nd shift-bringing 2nd shift pay to $28.16/hr, plus increases available with tenure.
