Rexel USA is seeking a Truck Driver Union to join the Riverhead, NY team. This role delivers materials to customers and branch locations in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).

Qualifications

• Must attend company driver training if no experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must pass a pre-employment and annual review of the Motor Vehicle Record.
• Must obtain verification of non-expired medical certificate within 60 days of hire.
• Must not have had a suspended driver's license for a traffic accident/violation in 3 years.
• Must not have any at fault accidents in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to customers and from branch/warehouse locations in a delivery van or box truck (No CDL required).
• Inspect the company vehicle and complete a daily inspection report.
• Keep the vehicle clean, serviced, and maintained; report repairs as needed.
• Follow DOT, local and state driving laws and regulations.
• Load or unload material and verify quantity/type and damage before departure.
• May assist in preparing orders for delivery.
• Ensure delivery paperwork is complete with customer signature and packing list.
• Pick up material returns and verify condition and quantities.
• Pick up material from suppliers.
• May perform other duties including counter sales, stocking, and shipping materials.
