Job summary

GEX Transport in Dayton, OH is hiring CDL Class A truck drivers for regional routes with daily home time and evenings shifts. Routes cover OH, KY and IN within 250 miles of the DC metro area; no touch freight with live unloads and drop & hook.

Earn $1,400–$1,700 per week plus a $1,500 sign-on bonus. Benefits include health, dental and vision, 401k and life insurance.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Regional or O.T.R. truck driving.
• Clean driving record with limited moving violations in the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry and refrigerated freight with no touch freight.
• Perform live unloads and drop & hook as required.
• Maintain routes within OH, KY and IN, within 250 miles of DC.

Job description

Objective.

Compensation:

$1400 to $1700 per week with Sign on bonus of $1500.

Running Area:

Delivering to in OH, KY and IN (within 250 miles of the DC).

Home Daily:

Evening shift only available (Days off: Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs).

Freight:

Dry & refrigerated. No touch Freight. Mix of live unload and drop & hook.

Miles per week:

1600

Transmission Type:

Automatics., Drug Test: Hair Test.

Job Requirements:

3 months experience in Regional or O.T.R. truck driving.

Moving Violations:

No more than 3 in the last 3 years. No more than 2 in the last 12 months.

Automatic Disqualifications:

• No speeding in a school or construction zone in the last 6 months while holding a Class A CDL, Outside of 3 months if not holding a CDL.
• More than three moving violations in the past three years.
• More than two moving violation in the last 12 months.
• Any license suspensions in the last 12 months related to moving violations.

Felonies/Misdemeanor:

All other charges will be reviewed. No felony for arson or theft in the last 10 years. No theft by check in the past 3 years. No drug charges in the past 10 years.
