Job summary

Touch Freight is seeking a driver to operate from Perryville, MD, delivering freight through Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey, with a daily home return to the distribution center.

The position includes loading and unloading with pallet jacks, a typical weekly mileage around 1,800 miles, and a home-daily schedule with about two days off per week. Minimum CDL-A experience is required and a hair follicle drug test must be passed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months CDL A experience.
• Able to pass the hair follicle drug test.
• Clean MVR, No SAP.
• All drivers must have reliable transportation as trucks cannot be taken home.

Responsibilities

• Deliver freight from Perryville MD to PA, NY (Staten Island) and NJ, returning to the distribution center.
• Load and unload trailer using pallet jacks.
• Operate with a home daily schedule and typically 2 consecutive days off per week.

• Pay: Average Weekly= $1,725, Top Weekly=$2,136, Average Annualized= $89,722, Top Annualized= $111,076
• Home time: Home Daily with typically 2 consecutive days off per week.
• Drivers will average 1800 miles per week
• Delivery Locations: Drivers will be running freight from Perryville MD with deliveries through Pennsylvania, New York (Staten Island) and New Jersey and return back to the distribution center.
• Drivers will load and unload trailer using pallet jacks.
