Job summary

RealTruck is seeking a Class A CDL driver to operate commercial motor vehicles and transport materials to assigned destinations. You will meet delivery schedules, practice safety protocols, and ensure compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL required.
• 2 years of professional driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with FMCSA and DOT regulations, including CDL-A requirements and hours of service.

Here’s what to expect when you join our team:

• Operate commercial motor vehicles such as vans, pickup trucks, straight trucks, and tractor trailers to transport materials, merchandise, and equipment to assigned destinations.
• Effectively meet delivery schedules from suppliers or distribution centers. Practice safety protocols while maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations for, but not limited to, CDL-A compliance, equipment inspections, Hours of Service, and traffic laws.
• Keep vehicle and associated equipment, clean and in good working order. Inspect vehicle for mechanical items and safety issues and report as appropriate to management.
• Report defects, accidents, or violations to management immediately.

Education and Experience:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Licensure: Class A Commercial Driver License.
• 2 years of previous professional driving or related experience is preferred.
