Job summary

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking a Local and Tribal Health Liaison to connect the PHEP program with local and tribal health jurisdictions across Montana. You will develop, disseminate, and evaluate tribal deliverables, offer technical assistance, and coordinate responses with subject matter experts to support preparedness planning and grant requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of strategic planning, resource allocation, coordination of people and quality improvement.
• Excellent written and oral communication including public speaking.
• Ability to facilitate groups and lead teams toward organizational goals.
• Ability to research and develop training materials and program content.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data and provide solutions.
• Proficiency with standard office software and computers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between PHEP and local/tribal health jurisdictions across Montana.
• Provide timely, accurate, and coordinated communication and guidance for preparedness planning and grant requirements.
• Lead development, dissemination, and evaluation of annual and local tribal deliverables.
• Offer technical assistance by coordinating responses with subject matter experts.
