Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax Local Service Experts to provide expert tax preparation, advice, and software support at a TurboTax location across the United States. You will serve as a trusted advisor, helping clients navigate personal and business tax needs while collaborating with a broader team of specialists for seamless, end-to-end service.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be used for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - Hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - Build and grow a local client base through outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - Connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build Relationships - Develop long-term trust and recurring business with clients.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - Ensure professionalism and help clients reach financial goals using video tools when needed.
