Job summary

Sapp Bros., Inc. is seeking a Full Time Local Tankwagon Fuel Driver for the Lincoln area. You will safely load, transport, and deliver lubricants, fuels, and related merchandise to our stops or customers. Good pay with monthly bonuses and full benefits are offered.

Must hold a CDL (Class B required, Class A preferred) with Hazmat or be willing to obtain. You will work a safety‑mocused schedule and be home each night when possible.

Qualifications

• CDL required (Class B minimum; Class A preferred).
• Hazmat endorsement strongly preferred or willing to obtain.
• D.O.T. health card required.
• Clean driving record and background check.
• Experience in oil/fuel transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver oil orders to truck stops or customers.
• Deliver refined fuels and propane.
• Manage oil warehouse operations.
• Perform pre-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
• Complete pre-shift safety checks and forms.
• Assist with warehouse duties as needed.
• Fuel and deliver while staying outside by hoses.
• Adhere to safety and DOT regulations.

As Driver, you will be responsible for the safe loading, transportation, and delivery of packaged lubricants, drums, and other merchandise to our truck stops or directly to a customer's place of business.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivering oil orders
• Delivering refined fuels and propane
• Managing oil warehouse
• Conducting pre-trip inspection of truck and trailer
• Performing warehouse duties
• Completing pre-shift safety and inspection form
• Fueling Truck Cleaning cab of truck
• Sticking tanks prior to, and after, delivery of fuel
• Remaining outside by the hoses while making delivery

Requirements

Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B required, Class A strongly preferred
• Hazmat, Airbrakes, and Tanker endorsement strongly preferred and would need to be obtained upon employment.
• Possess a current DOT health card
• An excellent driving and safety record
• Pass Criminal Background Check; including: Motor Vehicle Records, D.O.T., and Employment reference verification
• Must have a negative result on all drug & alcohol screening tests, pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, post-accident and random
• Previous experience in Oil and/or Fuel Transportation, preferred

Physical Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Able to remain alert while driving for periods of time, up to, 11 hours
• Able to squat, crouch, and reach, as needed, to handle, secure and deliver our products
• Able to enter and exit the vehicle's cab numerous times each day
• Able to push freight weighing up to 1,000 lbs. on a dolly or cart and able to move product up to 80 lbs. with or without mechanical aid
• Able to handle any special equipment required in the delivery of our products
