Job summary

Labatt Food Service in the United States is seeking Student Drivers to support our Texas and New Mexico distribution operations. You will deliver and unload 600–1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops, and you will begin learning to drive a tractor-trailer while interacting with customers.

This full-time role includes paid training to obtain your Class A CDL, a sign-on program, weekend home time, comprehensive benefits, and a clear career path toward a Route Driver position.

Qualifications

• Must provide a valid Class A Permit or Class A CDL and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
• Must pass pre-employment background check, motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

Labatt Food's Student Driver Program has graduated over 300 students since its origination. Labatt wants its drivers to have the safest fleet of trucks available. Trucks are equipped with the latest suite of radar and safety technology on the market, such as: adaptive braking and collision mitigation, lane departure warnings, and tire pressure monitoring on all tires. All our trucks are new and with automatic transmissions that will help with a smooth ride every day.

Student Drivers Responsibilities

• Responsible for delivering and unloading 600 - 1,200 cases per day by hand at designated stops
• Learning how to drive a tractor-trailer
• Interacting with customers

Student Drivers Qualifications

• Must be able to provide a valid Class A Permit or Class A CDL and proof of employment eligibility to work in the United States
• Applicable candidates must pass pre-employment background check and motor vehicle report, drug test, and physical.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, with dispatch times between 1:00 am - 5:00 am to finish (10-12 Hour Shift)

• $4,000 sign-on bonus ($2,000 after 6 months of employment and additional $2,000 after 12 months) (Limited Time)
