James H Clark & Son, Inc. is seeking a full-time Local/Regional Driver to operate company trucks in Dallas, TX.

You will transport refrigerated, frozen, and dry goods on local and regional routes, performing pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintaining logs in compliance with DOT regulations. You will coordinate with dispatch, plan routes, and provide professional customer service while caring for the equipment and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Proven Truck Driving experience with safe driving record and familiarity with local/regional routes.
• Valid CDL Class A license and ability to meet all DOT eligibility and medical requirements.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with dispatch, colleagues, and customers.
• Customer service mindset with a focus on professionalism, reliability, and problem-solving.
• Ability to safely operate and care for company truck equipment, including conducting basic inspections.
• Knowledge of federal and state transportation regulations, hours-of-service rules, and safety procedures.
• Ability to lift, move, or secure freight as needed and work in varying weather and traffic conditions.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior experience in refrigerated or truckload operations is a plus.
