Wooster Motor Ways, Inc. is hiring a dependable, safety-first Company Driver to haul freight on local lanes. The Pneumatic Drivers – Local role covers powdered cement with local routes, home daily and weekly pay of $1,300–$1,600.

Starting compensation is 25% of line haul, with a 90‑day increase to 28% of line haul. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid vacation starting after 6 months, with progression to more weeks over time.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• TWIC card is preferred but not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow hazmat or temp-sensitive handling procedures.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure paperwork is complete.
