Wooster Motor Ways, Inc. is hiring a dependable Company Driver for local pneumatic freight lanes in Ohio. You’ll work with a safety‑first team and enjoy a clear pay structure that rewards experience.

Local routes keep you home daily with weekly pay between $1,300 and $1,600. Starting compensation is 25% of Line Haul, increasing to 28% after 90 days, plus Medical/Dental/Vision and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL — required.
• HazMat endorsement preferred not required.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• TWIC card preferred not required.
• Must pass and maintain all DOT/FMCSA physical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A tractor-trailers to transport freight, general commodities, and specialized cargo.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report defects, accidents, or violations promptly.
• Load, secure, and inspect cargo; follow special handling procedures for hazmat or temperature-sensitive freight.
• Maintain accurate HOS logs and all required DOT/FMCSA documentation.
• Verify bills of lading, collect signatures/receipts, and ensure all paperwork is complete and correct.
• Plan routes and schedules to meet pickup and delivery windows.
• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (fluids, minor repairs); keep trailer clean and ready.
