Job summary

BMW of Riverside is seeking a Parts Driver to deliver and pick up parts within the local area. You will transport parts from local sources to our dealership, strictly following speed limits and safety rules.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a valid California driver's license and a clean driving record, plus strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A valid California driver’s license and clean DMV record.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff.
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance.
• Able to multitask.
• Able to safely operate motor vehicles in tight spaces.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Friendly with high energy and willingness to go above and beyond.
• Excellent client and customer satisfaction skills.
• Must be a team player with commitment to customer and team members.
• Must have a high-energy personality.
• Self-motivated and a team-oriented mindset.
• Self-starter and self-motivator.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed.
• Able to drive both automatic and standard-transmission vehicles.

• Parts Department experience a PLUS!

Responsibilities

• Complies with and enforces all safety & security policies and procedures.
• Follows all company policies and procedures.
• Maintains safe and secure environment by following safety and security standards and procedures and complying with codes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Realizes that business is built on customer satisfaction and stays devoted to guaranteeing satisfaction to our customers.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and performs routine maintenance tasks.
• Obeys posted speed limits at all times and all other rules of the road.
• Deliver and pick up parts to various locations.
• Build long-term relationships with the customers and vendors you deliver to.
• Maintain a distribution log or tracking system to record all deliveries/pickups made.
• Inspect, protect and maintain company assets, merchandise and vehicles.
• Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Company's Values in all interactions with customers, coworkers and vendors.
