Heaton Deliveries, Inc. is hiring dependable Package Delivery Drivers to operate company-provided, FedEx-branded delivery vehicles on established local routes in the Fort Wayne and New Haven areas.

No CDL is required; paid training and uniforms are provided, with company vehicles to use on daily routes. Daily work is daytime and typically 5 days per week, with peak season requiring six days and Saturday availability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must meet motor vehicle record standards
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle packages up to 150 pounds with equipment
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle on an assigned local route
• Load, organize, transport, and deliver packages
• Make deliveries to residential and business customers
• Enter and exit the vehicle safely throughout the day
• Follow delivery procedures, traffic laws, and safety requirements
• Use delivery technology and navigation tools to complete stops
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Communicate with management and dispatch about route progress
