Gourmet Foods International is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for NYC routes from GFI Northeast in West Caldwell, NJ. This full-time position involves local pickups and deliveries with touch freight and requires timely, accurate deliveries to NYC areas.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, log maintenance, and maintaining high standards of customer service while adhering to DOT safety regulations. We offer a competitive salary with strong benefits and home time.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B CDL license required.
• Experience driving in New York City required.
• Ability to handle touch freight and lift/move freight up to 75 lbs as needed.
• Strong knowledge of NYC streets, traffic patterns, and delivery routes.
• Clean driving record and reliable, punctual performance.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform local pickups and deliveries throughout NYC and surrounding boroughs.
• Load and unload freight (touch freight required).
• Ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain delivery paperwork and logs.
• Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations.
• Follow all DOT and company safety regulations.
