The role requires English proficiency, ability to obtain a DOT medical card, pass pre-employment screening, and a valid Non-CDL Class C license.

Qualifications

Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public.
Be able to obtain a DOT medical card.
Pass a pre-employment drug screen and road test.
Be 21 years of age or older.
Have a valid Non-CDL Class C driver’s license (unless otherwise required by state law).
Comply with DOT and FMCSA rules and guidelines.
Prefer prior delivery experience.

Responsibilities

Operate company-owned and leased trucks with a GVW under 26,000 lbs.
Deliver, pickup and relocate mattresses, box springs, and adjustable bases.
Unload the truck and provide courteous customer service during delivery and pickup.
Maintain safety and professional conduct in all customer interactions.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance; report defects.
Keep vehicles and company property in excellent condition.
