Sherwin-Williams is now hiring a Local Tanker Driver out of the Chicago, IL area. Earn an average of $95,400 - $100,400 annually, depending on miles and activities performed. Join a growing, stable private fleet with driver-focused benefits and opportunities.

You will be responsible for safe, on-time pickups and deliveries to manufacturing sites and other duties as required in the Midwest region. Strong emphasis on safety, compliance, and excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be a current Sherwin-Williams employee.
• Valid Class-A CDL is required.
• Valid MEC (Medical Examiner's Certificate) required.
• At least five years of Class-A road driving in the last ten years or 1 year of Sherwin Class-A experience.
• Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements, or willingness to obtain both upon offer.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently to communicate with the public and complete records.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver to destinations in a safe, timely manner.
• Comply with all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain accurate DOT trip logs.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete tank wash as required.
• Provide excellent customer service.
