Job summary

Salt City Trucking is hiring a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for Hutchins, TX. Earn weekly pay and stay home daily on a dedicated local intermodal account within a 250-mile radius of Hutchins/Wilmer.

Typical duties include drop & hook with mostly preloaded freight, night shifts, and a Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Qualified applicants have a valid Class A CDL, at least 3 months of verifiable CDL experience, a clean driving record, a current DOT Medical Card, and must be comfortable driving at night

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• First-seat experienced drivers.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Must be comfortable working night shifts and Saturdays.
• Must be able to operate safely in varying traffic and weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Local intermodal freight within a 250-mile radius.
• Mostly drop & hook operations with preloaded freight.
• Operate on a night shift schedule (Tuesday–Saturday).
• Be home daily and manage container-on-chassis handling.
• Adhere to safety protocols and DOT requirements.
