Job summary

Spectrum News is seeking a Multimedia Journalist (MMJ) to tell compelling, multi-platform stories for TV, digital, and connected TV. You will own the storytelling process from pitching to editing, delivering timely, accurate coverage for local communities.

You’ll work with a collaborative team, reporting on issues that matter while adapting to breaking news, weather, and a fast-paced newsroom environment. This role rewards curiosity and strong on-camera communication.

Qualifications

• Television news reporting experience required (3+ years).
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, Communications, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to shoot videos and edit; proficient with video editing software; effective social media use.

Responsibilities

• Pitch, write, shoot, interview, and edit stories for TV and digital platforms.
