Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking Combination Welders for project work at Phillips 66 in Old Ocean, TX. This role is on-site with a 4-10's schedule and is ideal for local candidates.

You will lay out, fit and weld structural components, pipes and vessels using arc, MIG, TIG and related processes; tests and safety requirements apply, including pre-employment qualification and drug screening. Qualifications

• Minimum four (4) years of welding experience.
• Written pre-employment qualification test.
• Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Turner Industries indoctrination and safety training.
• OSHA required safety equipment and eye wear (Z87).
• Ability to read plans and follow procedures as required by client and project.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, fits and welds fabricated components to assemble tanks, vessels, pipes, frames and structures.
• Set up equipment and welding processes (arc, heliarc, gas, MIG, TIG).
• Follow job site safety rules and wear required PPE.
