Job summary

Rotech Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Patient Service Technician to provide local delivery and setup of respiratory and home medical equipment in your community. You will educate patients and caregivers on safe use and care of equipment, while ensuring proper installation and patient safety.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, basic math skills, and strong communication abilities. The role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and a commitment to outstanding

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform basic math calculations and read patient documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English is required.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion with sensitive information.
• Demonstrated multi-tasking and attention to detail in a field setting.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Available for on-call assignments after business hours or weekends.
• Deliver and set up medical equipment in patients' homes.
• Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and maintenance of equipment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to ensure proper function and safety.
• Complete delivery documentation and patient visit reports timely and accurately.
• Keep company vehicle clean, safe, and ready for service.
• Respond to urgent equipment needs and participate in on-call rotations.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
