Medical Solutions LTC is seeking a local contract nurse RN Long Term Care for a local contract nursing job in Waterloo, New York.

Qualifications

• NYS RN licensure with current registration.
• Minimum 1 year LTC nursing experience; supervisory across multiple units.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Registered Professional Nursing; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required through AHA or CPI obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation of the nursing units and supervise staff assigned to units.
• Ensure quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on shifts.
• Communicate with Director of Nursing / Nurse Manager regarding unit issues and resolve problems.
• Make sound administrative decisions in the absence of the Director of Nursing.
