Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver for Chambersburg, PA, with home-daily routes serving CSX yards in Chambersburg, Harrisburg, and Baltimore. Expect 2–5 loads per day on a Sunday–Thursday schedule, starting at 1:00 PM; trucks stay at the terminal and you return home each day.

Earn an average annual pay of $86,400 plus a $10,000 sign-on bonus, ramp pay of $200/day during training, and 18 paid days off to start, with holiday pay after 90 days and medical coverage after

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and current CDL medical card.
• Minimum 3 months of truck driving experience.
• Clean driving record with no major incidents.
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire.
• Hazmat fingerprinting and assessment reimbursement up to $60.

Responsibilities

• Operate local intermodal, home-daily routes serving CSX yards.
• Handle 2–5 loads per day depending on haul length.
• Load/unload prioritization at rail yards in Chambersburg/Harrisburg/Baltimore.
• Slip-seat operation; trucks remain at Chambersburg terminal.
• Ramp training begins the day after onboarding; on-site orientation.
