Job summary

Brenntag Southwest, LLC is seeking a professional truck driver to operate a power unit for chemical distribution across customer sites and Brenntag branches. This role involves hazmat and non-hazmat loads, along with in-plant movements and inter-company transfers.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, paperwork, safety compliance, and equipment care. Local residency within sixty miles is preferred; applicants must pass drug screen, background check, and E-verify. Training available.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with Tanker, Bulk, and/or Hazmat endorsement.
• Current DOT medical card.
• No facial hair interfering with respirator use.
• TWIC card or active application.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• 1 year liquid bulk hauling or 3 years commercial truck driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate a power unit (Class 8 tractor) for chemical distribution.
• Transport hazmat and non-hazardous materials, liquid and dry.
• Assist with loading/unloading and paperwork compliance.
• Follow all safety rules, DOT/OSHA, and Brenntag procedures.
• Adhere to site policies; perform pre-inspections and logs.
