Job summary

SRS is seeking a dependable continuity merchandiser to maintain a small branded cooler/freezer unit at a local grocery store in Nags Head. This is a 1099 independent contractor role with an as-needed gig schedule; hours and frequency vary by client, market, and season.

You will visit the store once per week, perform bi-weekly product changeouts, verify inventory, and report outcomes via smartphone the same day with photos.

Qualifications

• Must be local to the Nags Head area and available for on-site visits.
• Independent contractor status (1099) with no W-2 employment.
• Ability to visit the store once per week and perform bi-weekly product changes.

Responsibilities

• Visit the grocery store once per week as required by the client.
• Perform bi-weekly full product changeouts, including defrosting, restocking, and updating signage.
• On other visits, check inventory and restock as needed (about 20 minutes).
• Verify thermostat settings as instructed.
• Report service via smartphone the same day with required photos.
