Job summary

State of Alaska is seeking a Local Government Specialist to assist communities statewide, traveling to Anchorage, Dillingham, Nome or Kotzebue. You’ll provide hands-on support across elections, financial management and emergency services while acting as a trusted advisor on Alaska Statute Title 29 and water safety.

Ideal candidates will build relationships, serve as a resource, and help communities thrive through public service, engineering and utility programs. Flexible travel required.

Qualifications

• Experience with local government and public administration.
• Knowledge of Alaska Statute Title 29 is preferred.
