Sentinel Transportation in Denver, CO is hiring a safety-focused Local Fuel Tanker Driver. Enjoy the convenience of being home daily with a consistent 5-on, 2-off schedule, working Thursday through Monday on the PM shift, and playing a key role in the safe, compliant transport of fuel products across routes.

You will perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, handle non-red dyed diesel in accordance with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements, complete DOT paperwork, and monitor vehicle safety

Qualifications

• 2+ years tractor-trailer driving experience.
• 6 months tanker experience preferred.
• Valid CDL A with Haz-Mat and Tanker endorsements.
• Clean MVR and ability to pass DOT requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and drop trailers, load/unload fuel as required, gravity drop deliveries.
• Load from two racks; fleet based at primary loading rack.
• Handle non-red dyed diesel fuel in all operations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required DOT and company paperwork.
• Monitor vehicle safety and related equipment.

• Safely pick up and drop trailers, load and unload fuel products as required, with a focus on gravity drop deliveries.
• Load primarily from two racks, with the fleet based at the primary loading rack.
• Handle exclusively non-red dyed diesel fuel in all operations.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required DOT and company paperwork.
• Monitor vehicle safety and ensure the functionality of all related equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of tractor-trailer driving experience; 6 months of tanker experience preferred.
• Valid CDL A: Must hold a valid commercial driver's license (CDL A).
• Haz-Mat & Tanker Endorsements: Required to have both Haz-Mat and Tanker Endorsements. A TWIC card may also be required depending on the location.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Must successfully pass a DOT physical, drug test, and criminal background check to ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.
