Job summary

MFA Oil Company in Steele, Missouri is seeking a Fuel & Propane Driver to deliver refined fuels and propane on assigned routes while maintaining safety and vehicle readiness.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and eventual CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements. Candidates should be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in varying weather conditions, with on-call and weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability and willingness to work with hazardous materials.
• Ability and willingness to become propane (CETP) certified as determined by the state(s) served.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to obtain Class A or Class B CDL with tanker, HAZMAT, and air brake endorsements within 90 days.
• Ability to pass MFA Oil road test within 90 days.
• Ability to safely operate automatic and manual transmissions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver refined fuel products and propane to customers within local routes.
• Maintain terminal access to load products where applicable.
• Operate vehicle in accordance with MFA Oil policies and laws.
• Use handheld devices to ensure accurate deliveries.
• Connect fuel hoses at customer sites and safely stow hoses afterward.
• Report safety, efficiency, or customer issues to management.
