Job summary

Horizon Forest Products in Maryland is seeking a qualified Class B driver to join our flooring delivery team. You will load flooring bundles from the warehouse, transport to customer sites, and unload upon arrival, while maintaining safety and professionalism with customers.

This role focuses on local deliveries only with typical hours Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. Responsibilities include pre-trip inspections, on-site unloading, accurate order review, adherence to routes and DOT

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Clean driving record.
• DOT medical certification.
• Able to pass a background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load flooring bundles from the warehouse into the truck as directed.
• Transport orders to customer locations and unload upon arrival.
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Review orders for accuracy and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain safety protocols and DOT-compliant log books.
• Return paperwork and payments to the Ops Manager.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Remain professional and courteous with customers.
