Job summary

A Plus Expediting & Logistics, Inc. is seeking an employee driver for an entry level courier role in the Dayton, OH area. You will pickup miscellaneous items and deliver them across Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus, with occasional inside deliveries.

This full-time position may include overtime and weekend work. Physical labor is required, including lifting up to 75 pounds and handling special delivery requirements as needed.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate reliability with consistent attendance.
• Strong time-management skills for routing and deliveries.
• Attention to detail for proper parcel handling and documentation.
• Valid driver's license in good standing.
• Clean driving record with no major infractions.
• At least 2 years of driving experience (paid driving preferred).

Responsibilities

• Pick up items and deliver them within the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus area.
• Perform occasional inside delivery and placement as required.
• Assist with loading and unloading, lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate delays or issues.

Job description

A Plus Expediting & Logistics, Inc. is looking for drivers for an entry level position as an employee driver in one of our cargo vans. This is "courier work" and the position entails picking up miscellaneous items (no hazmat) ranging from an envelope, bouquet of flowers, boxes of business cards and/or copy paper, printed forms and material, up to skids of various materials and product, and then delivering them around the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Columbus areas.

This is full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may also be available!

This position does require physical labor, the ability to lift and carry up to 75 pounds, and occasional "special handling" like inside delivery.
