Puryear Tank Lines is hiring CDL-A Dump Truck Drivers for local routes with home daily. This role offers steady, consistent work, well-maintained equipment, and a driver-focused team.

We seek dependable, safety-conscious drivers with a Class A license. You’ll operate locally, perform inspections, and maintain DOT compliance while staying close to home. Start times may vary with workload.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 23 years of age.
• 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Strong safety record and professional attitude.
• Ability to pass pre-employment driving test.
• DOT physical.
• Drug & alcohol screening.
• Hazmat, Tanker, or other endorsements are not required for this position, but are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a Class A dump truck on local routes.
• Haul and deliver materials safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers, and job site personnel.
• Comfort with physical demands of the position, including climbing in/out of equipment, walking uneven surfaces, and performing routine vehicle inspections.
