Excel Moving & Storage / Allied Van Lines in Raleigh, NC is seeking qualified local drivers to safely operate box trucks and tractor-trailers, loading and unloading household goods with care.

You will follow dispatcher routes, maintain accurate paperwork, perform vehicle inspections, and deliver exceptional customer service while meeting schedules. A valid license and clean driving record are required; CDL is preferred, with flexibility for varying shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Commercial driving experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a box truck or tractor-trailer.
• Strong customer service mindset and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities Are As Follows

• – Safely and efficiently operate a box truck or tractor-trailer to transport goods to various locations
• – Pack, Load and unload household goods, ensuring proper handling and securing of items
• – Follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• – Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner
• – Maintain accurate records of move paperwork
• – Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues to the appropriate department
• – Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while operating the vehicle

Workdays

• Monday to Friday – 8-hour day shifts
• Weekends as needed

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Commercial Driving Experience Preferred
• Ability to safely operate a box truck or tractor-trailer

• Ability to handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
• Excellent time management and organizational skills

Salary Description

$20-25/hour based on license type and experience
