Job summary

TForce Freight is seeking a reliable Local Driver to operate a tractor-trailer safely and deliver freight on time. You will represent the company with a professional attitude and ensure accurate, damage-free deliveries throughout the Tulsa area.

The role requires a Class A CDL, hazmat endorsements, and compliance with DOT rules. Excellent customer service and strong time management are essential for success in this growing logistics team.

Qualifications

• Impeccable customer service and dedication.
• Valid class A CDL in the resident state.
• Hazmat endorsement required; tanker/doubles preferred.
• Meet all DOT and company requirements.
• Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Operate a commercial vehicle transporting goods to locations safely and efficiently.
• Ensure cargo is loaded and secured prior to departure.
• Provide excellent customer service with timely deliveries and responsive communication.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs for driving hours and routes traveled.
• Coordinate with dispatch on schedules, delays and issues during transport.

• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly before departure.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring timely deliveries and handling any customer inquiries or concerns.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle and report any maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all local, state and federal transportation regulations and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs for driving hours, routes traveled and cargo conditions.
• Communicate with the dispatch management team regarding schedules, delays and any issues that may arise during transportation.
