Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A Driver for home daily local routes in Council Bluffs, IA. You'll operate a 26 ft box truck (occasionally a 53-ft tractor-trailer) and return home daily, supporting safe, on-time deliveries for customers.

Responsibilities include touch freight, safety-first driving, pre-shift inspections, and clear communication with dispatch. Minimum CDL-A and 21+ yrs old are required; high-school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• 6 months of CDL experience operating the same type of equipment in the last 3 years.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• A current valid CDL A license and an acceptable MVR.

Pay rates starting at $29.00 and $2-3/hr shift differential per hour plus overtime pay available after 40 worked hours per week.

About the role

As a CDL Driver, you'll not only drive our equipment, but you'll also drive our success! You'll play a key role in ensuring safe, on-time delivery of goods for our customers, running local routes that get you home daily. Responsible for safely transporting materials between company facilities and ensuring timely, accurate movement of products and equipment to support daily operations.

What you'll need to succeed at GXO

At a minimum you'll need:

• 6 months of Commercial Driver's License (CDL) experience operating the same type of equipment needed for this position, or larger, in the last 3 years
• Must be at least 21 years old
• A current valid (CDL A) driver's license and an acceptable MVR

It'd be great if you also have:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience moving multiple types of trailers (tanks, vans, flatbeds)
