Litehouse is seeking a Local Truck Driver to keep our operations moving with safe, on-time deliveries and hands-on cargo handling. This role emphasizes attention to safety, reliability, and teamwork to support a local supply chain.

You will operate large trucks on a set schedule, perform pre-trip inspections, and manage delivery documentation while coordinating with dispatch. Forklift duties and proper records completion are part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Associate's or technical degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience operating large or heavy trucks.
• Valid Class A CDL and DOT medical certification.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations and safe driving practices.
• Experience with vehicle inspections and basic maintenance.
• Solid documentation and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

As a Local Truck Driver, you'll play a key role in safely transporting products between locations, ensuring on-time deliveries, and keeping our supply chain running smoothly. What You Will Do

• Safely operate large trucks to transport cargo between designated locations on a set schedule
• Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and readiness
• Load, unload, and secure cargo, verifying accuracy and proper handling
• Manage delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records of shipments
• Operate a forklift as needed to support loading and unloading activities
• Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, updates, and any issues
• Maintain accurate driver logs, including hours worked, deliveries, and rest periods

What You Bring

• Associate's or Technical School Degree OR six months to one-year related experience and/or training: OR equivalent combination of education and experience equivalent experience/training
• 2+ years of experience operating large or heavy trucks
• Valid Class A CDL and current DOT medical certification (required)
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
• Strong knowledge of DOT safety regulations and safe driving practices
• Experience with vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
• Solid documentation and organizational skills
• Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changes on the road
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
