Job summary

BWT Logistics seeks a Local CDL Driver to safely transport goods on local routes in Georgia. You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/unload cargo, and maintain accurate logs while ensuring on-time deliveries and strong customer service.

Job description

The Local CDL Driver ensures the safe and timely transportation of goods between designated locations. This position requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or B as required for the vehicle operated.
• Clean driving record with no recent violations or accidents.
• Ability to pass DOT physical examination and drug screening.
• Knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations applicable to commercial driving.
• Experience operating commercial vehicles in a local delivery environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) and GPS navigation systems.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic cargo handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Strong customer service skills and experience interacting with clients during deliveries.
• Additional endorsements on CDL such as Hazmat, Tanker, or Doubles/Triples.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed.
