Job summary

Installed Building Products is seeking a reliable DOT-certified Box Truck Driver for local, day-time deliveries. You will operate a 26’ box truck with lift gate, load/unload materials, and maintain accurate delivery logs while adhering to safety and DOT regulations.

You’ll work Monday through Friday, with potential overtime and no overnight travel, staying close to home. Opportunities exist to grow responsibilities and advance within the company.

Qualifications

• DOT-certified box truck driver with clean driving record.
• Able to lift/move materials up to 50 lbs.
• Strong knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
• Safety-focused with ability to perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Excellent communication with dispatch and customers.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 26’ box truck with lift gate for local deliveries.
• Follow assigned routes and ensure timely, same-day deliveries.
• Load and unload materials using proper safety techniques and equipment.
• Verify orders for accuracy and collect delivery confirmations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain DOT compliance and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
• Keep accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and materials.
• Communicate with dispatch and customers to ensure smooth delivery operations.
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers.
