Job summary

Reece-Supply-Company is seeking a Warehouse Associate and Delivery Driver to stock, pull materials, and deliver items within the sales territory. You will operate RF scanning systems, drive a box truck, and handle warehouse tasks with safety and efficiency.

Requirements include 1 year each of driving and warehouse experience, a valid license with a clean 7-year record, and ability to pass a drug test. Benefits include 401(k), medical, vision, dental, and more.

Qualifications

• Must have clean 7-year driving history with no DWI.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Comfortable walking and standing for more than 80% of the work day.
• Ability to read a map and follow directions to customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Makes deliveries daily to customers in the sales territory in an efficient manner, minimizing the time away from the warehouse while driving the vehicle in a safe & courteous manner.
• Reports any mechanical issues with the delivery vehicle to the supervisor immediately.
• Delivers or routes materials to shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
• Examines pallet loads and package contents to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment records.
• Confers with supervisors or sales representatives to resolve problems such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance specifications.
• Stock material, equipment, and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.
• Pull orders and stage material in shipping or delivery area in the warehouse, using hand-trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and lift-trucks.
• General housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in warehouse.
• Perform other duties as assigned
