Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a U-Box Customer Care Driver to transport storage containers locally and provide friendly service to customers. You will operate a flatbed truck and forklift per training, loading and unloading containers at customer sites within Madison, AL, and nearby areas.

Responsibilities include ensuring safe delivery, maintaining a clean driving record, and participating in ongoing U-Haul education and certifications to support dependable service and career growth.

Qualifications

• Clean motor vehicle driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Department of Transportation certification.
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL).

Responsibilities

• Operate a flatbed truck (training provided).
• Operate an 8000-lb propane forklift or a truck-mounted forklift (training provided).
• Load and unload storage containers for delivery.
• Transport storage containers to and from specified destinations, e.g., customers’ homes and businesses – local routes only.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
