Job summary

FedEx Group is seeking a delivery driver to operate company vehicles and provide courteous, efficient delivery and pickup of packages. You will check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards and provide coverage for assigned routes within the station's service area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 6 months courier experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You must be 21 or older and fluent in English for traffic signs and official directions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months courier experience preferred; must know the service area.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver heavier packages with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills; knowledge of the service area preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age; ability to read and speak English sufficiently for traffic signs and directions.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles for delivery and pickup of packages in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Check shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards.
• Provide coverage for all assigned routes within the station's service area.
• Perform related customer service functions as assigned.
