Job summary

Batesville Logistics, LLC is seeking a reliable CDL driver to transport and unload caskets for customers. You will build strong customer relationships while adhering to DOT rules and company policies to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

The role requires a clean driving record, a current CDL, and the ability to pass a road test and DOT physical. A flexible schedule and physical requirements apply.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
  • Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years.
  • Ability to pass a vehicle road test and a current DOT physical.
  • Flexibility to work any shift including weekends.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and over 100 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate commercial motor vehicles from straight trucks to tractor trailers.
  • Deliver and unload caskets in a safe, courteous manner.
  • Develop and nurture customer relationships and meet CSC demands.
  • Adhere to DOT regulations, safety standards, and vehicle inspections.
  • Use electronic logging devices (ELDs) and record hours of service accurately.
