Job summary

Horizon Distributors, Inc. is seeking an experienced Delivery Driver to service local customers in Spring, TX. You will deliver products on time, load and unload, collect payments, and maintain accurate records while complying with FMCSR.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license and ability to operate up to a 26000 GVW straight 24’ flatbed truck.
• MVR and PSP checks showing no more than 2 violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• Ability to frequently lift and move items weighing 20 pounds and up to 75 pounds.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background verification are required.

Responsibilities

• Make deliveries using the most efficient route to ensure on-time delivery.
• Load and unload the vehicle, ensuring products are properly secured.
• Collect payments and accurately document deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSR and other regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable daily.
• Assist with housekeeping duties to maintain a safe sales center.
• Follow instructions with minimal supervision.
